A new policy guideline in Britain’s healthcare system affirms the right of biologically male patients who identify as female to share rooms and wards with female patients, according to a Daily Mail report.
This comes a year after a Toronto woman was chastised by the human rights commission in Ontario for complaining about having to share a room with a transgender individual at an abused women’s shelter.
