Last week, Canada expelled Chinese diplomat Zhao Wei, who had allegedly played a role in the targeted harassment of Conservative MP Michael Chong. This is just the latest in a series of scandals involving political interference from Beijing, which have raised concerns over China’s influence on Canadian affairs.
