The Liberal government is mulling a plan to be put forward by Immigration Minister Marc Miller to give legal status to people in Canada illegally. This comes after Prime Minister Justin Trudeau conceded that Canada’s immigration system has allowed in more people than the country has been able to “absorb” in recent years.
