Last night at the Juno Awards, Canadians were presented with a new question to ponder about Canadian culture and Canadian music: what makes Canadian music Canadian?
Although that might seem like a simple question to some, the Liberal establishment who want you to believe that foreign music sung completely in a foreign language to Canadians and performed by non-Canadians is now Canadian music.
An Indian born singer Karan Aujla, who is not even a citizen of Canada, performed a Punjabi song last night and even won a Juno Award. What does this mean for the future of Canadian music if foreign music that has no connection to Canada is now considered Canadian?
And of course, it wouldn’t be a leftist event without a healthy serving of gender ideology politics and far-left activism, which were proudly displayed last night as some representation of Canadian culture.
