The Canadian Federation of Students-Ontario released a statement Thursday in support of the anti-Israel university encampments across Canada and the U.S.

More radical anti-Israel encampments have been set up on Canadian university campuses, including at the University of Toronto and the University of Victoria.

Left-wing students at several Canadian universities recently held “sit-in” protests at their respective RBC "OnCampus" branches, demanding that the bank stop funding a company selling products to Israel. They also cited financial support for the oil and gas sector as a grievance.

Racially segregated graduation ceremonies for black students are taking place at several of Canada’s top universities this year.

"The controversial changes to the board’s special interest programs and schools were voted on last May and are impacting current Grade 8 students seeking to apply to specialized schools in the fall."

“We’re calling on (U of T) to reinstate a mask mandate, as well as for low-effort interventions to increase uptake: free masks, more mask distribution points, and advertising to promote a safe campus,” wrote CUPE 3902 in a social media post.

The Democracy Fund is representing students who are taking the University of Toronto to court for recently announcing a new booster mandate that will be implemented for all students living in residence this fall.
