Liberals rethinking decriminalization of hard drugs

The Liberals appear to be having second thoughts about decriminalizing heroin, crack cocaine and other hard drugs as a way of dealing with the country’s ongoing addiction crisis.

According to the the Drug User Liberation Front (DULF), the drugs were obtained on the dark web using cryptocurrency, and were then tested by DULF to ensure they weren’t contaminated with other substances.

British Columbia faced record 165 overdose deaths in January

British Columbia’s Coroners Service reports that 165 people died in January, or 5.3 a day. This rate is 104% higher than the 81 deaths in January 2020 and a record for the first month of the year.
